Clothing
The LOC Merino Hoodie is a truly multi functional Hoodie in a super soft and stretchy mix of the finest, mulesing free Merino Wool and Tencel®.
This is a warm, breathable and soft merino wool fleece made from natural fibres only. The inside is "roughened" to create an inner quality that reminds of the texture of fleece.
NOTE: The first few days of use, the excess lint from the roughened inside could "wander through" the fabric and appear as lint on the outside of the fabric. This is completely normal and the "linting" process will stop after you have used the hoodie for a while.
Our Merino wool fabric is made in Sweden. It`s soft, stretchy and light in a mix of 60% merino wool och 40% Tencel®. The Merino Wool adds warmth and is naturally odour deterent. Tencel® is a cellulose-based fibre which gives the material structure and adds even more efficient wicking properties.
This 100% natural hoodie will keep you warm on all sorts of adventures. It will add warmth underneath your wading jacket and be the perfect evening dress when you hang with friends after fishing.
This is the natural choice if you are looking for a warm and comfy hoodie and wants to wear natural materials without synthetics. The LOC Merino Hoodie will stay with you for many years to come.

How to take care of your Merino Hoodie
Wool truly is an amazing material. Its resistance to dirt and bacteria is well documented. This is why you don't have to wash it as often as you would wash other fabrics. After using it for a while, just hang it out in the fresh air and after a while it is as good as newly washed. You basically don't have to wash it until it gets dirty. Remember: if you wash Merino Wool clothes to often you reduce the natural properties of the wool. If possible, use a clothes bag that will protect the Wool fabric in the machine.
Wash on the wool cycle on the washing machine (max heat 30 degrees Celsius)
If you have the opportunity use detergent made specially for wool clothes. If you don´t have wool detergent, use a mild environmentally certified detergent witout enzymes and a neutral PH value.
Don't use bleach.
Do not use fabric softeners. It is bad for the environment and it reduces the performance of the fabric. Mostly it reduces wicking properties and prolongs drying time.
Do not tumble dryers. again bad for the environment and since wool is sensitive of heat it's a bad idea.
After washing, put the Hoodie on a big towel on a flat surface and re-shape it.
As wool is a natural material it easily shapes. Therefore store the hoodie folded on a shelf. Do not hang the hoodie on a hanger for long times as it makes the hoodie loose its shape.
Degradable
All materials in this hoodie are biologically degradable since we don´t mix natural materials with synthetics. This means you can compost it and after a while all that is left is nutritious soil. Details like washing labels and the stitched logotype needs to be taken off.
The LOC Merino Boxer Shorts are made of the highest quality Merino Wool. The Merino Wools soft, moisture wicking, insulating, odour-resistant, temperature-regulating, breathable and elastic qualities are well documented and people from around the world use them in all kinds of outdoor activities. This really is nature's own high-tech material.

Wool truly is an amazing material. Its resistance to dirt and bacteria is well documented. This is why you don't have to wash it as often as you would wash other fabrics.
After using your socks for a while, simply rinse the socks in lukewarm water and then hang them to dry. This is most often the only thing you need to make them feel fresh again. Then again, if they smell fishy even after rinsing, then it is time for them to hit the washing machine.
